The Purpose of the Shoprate.com Mortgage Blog

By:

When I was asked to write blogs for Shoprate.com I was worried I would not be able to come up with fresh content for readers on a regular basis. But then I realized after being in the mortgage marketing industry since 1993 (14 years, hard to believe) I have pretty much seen and heard it all and wanted to give my insight to both consumers who are looking for mortgages and lenders who are looking for ways to put their products in front of these same consumers.

While some of the mortgage blog entries have been directed at mortgage lenders helping them to look for new ways to target potential clients, most of my previous mortgage blog entries have been more directed and aiding and assisting consumers in making their home loan decision. I guess that just shows that at Shoprate.com we are looking to protect the best interest of the consumer, putting in place the necessary quality control policies and procedures in an attempt to make their task, their very large, important and sometimes daunting task of shopping for a home mortgage, a little easier.

The goal of Shoprate.com is and remains to put as much quality information in front of a consumer in a timely manner and done so in a way that is simple to use and easy to understand. We do not want you to have to click through 8 pages of "fluff? to get rate information - you can do that with only one click from our homepage. We don't badger consumers with banner ads, pop-up ads and most importantly, Shoprate.com does not ask for your personal information to be sold to lenders as a "lead?. We value your privacy and believe that with enough quality information, consumers will be able to make their own educated decisions about which mortgage program and lender would be best for their own personal situation.

While I am not an expert by any means, if you should have any questions please feel free to send me an e-mail at anytime to info@shoprate.com. If I do not know the answer, I have a wealth of people with whom I have created great relationships over the past 14 years and would be more than happy to tap into this network to try and get you an answer. We are here to help.
