We have updated the learning center with detailed information in regards to the regulatory institutions in every state who govern and regulate the mortgage industry in their state. Use this section to find many very useful tools which often include: address, phone numbers, fax numbers and contact information for the department, contact names and titles, links to the state website, links to where consumers can file consumer complaints, have their questions answered, check to be certain a lender is properly licensed in the state, and check to see if there are any statewide advisories which might effect their home loan.
The next step will be to update each states specific Mortgage Banking Association and Mortgage Brokers Association and give detailed information in regards to those organizations. These are often great resources to find out specific information about the lending industry and any regulations which might effect your specific state.
