How Cool is Cuil?

As many of you know, Cuil was launched this morning. So what is it? Cuil (pronounced "cool?) is your basic search engine that boasts 121,617,892,992 web pages.
Cuil was developed by a group of ex-Google employees, which makes me wonder, are these disgruntled employees looking to sabotage Google? Is that even possible? I like the "look? of their site opposed to the all-white backdrop that Google uses and the fact that all of your search history is private is a definite plus.
Today, I experienced slow loading and even an error message stating they would be back shortly – I am thinking they needed to quickly update servers for the overload the website experienced. While bragging that they search three times as many pages as Google I found that the information returned on these searches isn't as reliable as I would get from Google. If you keep your search to two or three words, you will be ok but if you type in a long search question, I don't think Cuil knows how to "handle? it. I had also read that someone typed in "sex? to search and it returned "Sex Pistols?. Of course, I had to find out for myself and sure enough – the results of the search were not related to sex but to the Sex Pistols or Sex and DNA. I also search phone numbers on Google, almost daily.
Today I searched a phone number on Cuil and received this error message: * your search includes a term that is very rare. Try to find a more common substitute. too many search terms. Please try fewer terms
So again, I am thinking a phone number is too much of an overload for Cuil at this point. I'm not sure I am sold yet on this hype.
